Art is believed to be a mirror of society, and also of an artist’s personality, which exposes his/her thoughts, emotions, imaginations and of course, inner voice. Painting is also such a medium and this medium becomes a strong source for me to express myself and my thinking.

As we all know that an artist is very much influenced from his/her surrounding environment, so naturally this influence is mostly seen in my paintings. In fact, every object or element present in the nature becomes a medium of expression of emotions and feelings. In its earlier stage, my creativity was limited to woman/feminine depictions, but as I kept passing by through the journey of art, various other shapes and creatures gradually took place into my creativity and in turn discovered a medium of expression of emotions. These might be human creatures or other zoological shapes. Children, birds, animals and man-woman figures have now been parts of my creativity, to which I try giving emotional empowerment using various objects. Such as, emotions of a mother having lost in giggling of her child.

I have tried to discover myself into my paintings. Emotions are such an unlimited world that is huge, deeper than an ocean and as simpler and sanctified as sky. There is a secret in them that anyhow gets disclosed by ever changing, new, fresh and innovative forms. To expose and explore these emotions, symbolism appears to be most lively and strong resource. This is because an object or an atmosphere is equally important along with the subject. Depicting these objects or atmosphere usually through abstracts interests me much. Figures on plain and colorful base using symbolic signs and shapes impose sharper effect on a viewer’s mind.

Birds, cages, waves, flowers, bells, blocks of unclear colors and many more… all these help a lot to express myself. And, along with this, use of textures on the background also helps me more. Subject comes up with greater visibility and sharper effect if dry brushing, knife and roller are used. I have primarily used sharp colors in all my works. Through my paintings, my efforts are on to expose various shades and forms of human beings. These figures are simple, beautiful, rhythm tic that together create such a wonderful world of emotions. Truly speaking, there are such a fantastic emotions that come across and give a true image of a bond occurring among human, emotions and nature, connecting a sweet thread of relations with the humanity.
